About Me

Hey. I am yashh. I am a master’s student at San Jose state university (CA). I am looking for opportunities to develop innovative apps in the field of web. I fell in love with django a python based web framework in mid 2007. Its been an year and I am enjoying it every moment. I am attending the Djangocon 2008.

A word on Design

I want to talk a few words regarding the design of this site. This design is heavily inspired from Jeffcroft. I was very much into his blog that I had no other ideas but to use his design. However I wrote all the backend apps by myself. I used Blueprint CSS to acheive the markup and styling. For syntax highlighting I used Pygments. I hand coded all the markup using Textmate (the best editor) on Leopard. This website is hosted on Webfaction, obviously the best Django host out there. This site is optimized to Safari. I have n’t had time to make it look even on Internet explorer(hate to do that).

Other than web, I spend a lot of time watching movies. I have a great passion for photography.
